Gazing eyes of thunder wake up this man from his slumber
Walking in his dreams he comes across
His future, that goes asunder.
Past is a wild journey
Future is a different game
If they were to blend together
Would they be the same again?
Past is a clear pathway
Future is an unknown destination.
Every step that you take in this life’s highway
Leaves you behind, with trails of inspiration.
If life stops for a moment
If it were to, as it never will.
I would be like a pearl inside an oyster
Shining bright and lying still…
