Leftover Memories
18 June, 2004
Author: Del
Once you told me this heart of yours
Belonged to only me.
Now it seems this heart of yours
Wants only to be free.
Tell me, darling, what can I do
To put that spark back in your heart?
I'll do anything you want me to.
I'm so miserable since we're apart.
I have such wonderful memories.
Like the first night we made love.
It was at the beach, under the stars
With a bright full moon up above.
Lips so tenderly kissed me,
As your body pressed close to mine.
We both admitted the thrill we felt
Was so completely, supremely devine.
I'll never forget you, darling.
I'll just keep on loving you.
And if you stay away forever
Left over memories will have to do
