so devoted and true
a friend like you
I am so proud of knowing you

if I could do something special for you
I'd put my life on pause
and watch life from a distance with you

I'd take you up on a ballon
peek down in the valley
I'd take you to the top
of the mountain so high
and look up to the sky

if you became ill
I'd sit down besides you all night long
if I could I'd find you a cloud
with a silver linning
I'd capture the beauty of the rainbow
and watch your heart glow

I'd walk the last mile
I'd shower you with smiles
I'd wrap my arms around you
to thank you for being
" just you"

A friend as you this I'd do,
Everyday I'd hold you tight,
So safe from all you'd feel.
Everyday my heart I'd give,
So you'd feel warm and cared,
With my ears i'd listen,
my eyes would see what each word does mean,
not just today but all our tomorrows a friend who's by you're side I'd be

true friends are so hard to find
especially those that are sweet and kind
can never fill the spot of a love one so true
but a true friend i found in you
