A heart's a fragile thing
A heart's too often broken
By actions that shouldn't be made
Or words that shouldn't be spoken

A heart's a fragile thing
And more than not it breaks
By the pain that someone causes
And the tears that pain creates

My heart, my love, is a fragile thing
That's been broken too often by you
Somehow, though, it's pieces have always found their way
Back to loving you
