Abandoned

You were the stone in the wind.
I couldn't resist the longing in your eyes.
You were the rock in the sea.
I couldn't escape the allure of your lies.

A love refused.
The yearning to be used.
These moments will leave us no place to stay.
To be with me.
Would mark your tragedy.
Just walk away.

Cunning and elusive.
I knew your treacherous heart.
Passionate and fierce.
I died when we were apart.

A love refused.
The yearning to be used.
They tore me away from you.
To be with me.
Would mark your tragedy.
Abandoned love the night fell to.

I get it

Love forbidden! Knowing it's wrong, but you ache when you two are seperate. Very good choice of words, I love it ErinBrenna!

Smiles,
Meri
