Abandoned
30 June, 2004
Author: ErinBrenna
You were the stone in the wind.
I couldn't resist the longing in your eyes.
You were the rock in the sea.
I couldn't escape the allure of your lies.
A love refused.
The yearning to be used.
These moments will leave us no place to stay.
To be with me.
Would mark your tragedy.
Just walk away.
Cunning and elusive.
I knew your treacherous heart.
Passionate and fierce.
I died when we were apart.
A love refused.
The yearning to be used.
They tore me away from you.
To be with me.
Would mark your tragedy.
Abandoned love the night fell to.
