my heart stopped beating
you brought it back to life
my heart was blind
you restored it's sight
I forgot how to smile
you brought my laughter back
I was crying
you dried the last tear drop
you are the candle
that sees me thru the night
you are the ocean
that covers my soul
you are the sunshine
that keeps my body warm
you are the heart
that captured mine
when you are away
you are the love
that I sleep with
in my heart every night
you are the man
that I go home to every night
you are the man
that brought love into my life
