9.00am and Im waiting for the market traders pub to
open,
Im not a market trader
but I do like a good drink

The doors open
and I automaticly lick my lips,
'can I have a pint of Best and some cheese and onion crisps',

I sit my usual table,
the one over there by the jukebox,
'who put this song on?i hate ultravox!'

I sit silently listening to the people talk at the bar,
watching them drink,
then drive off in there cars,

I left to go home to have some lunch,
toasted cheese sandwich,
man you taste good!

I turn on the telly for the local News...
'Now to South London,
A 14year old girl has been killed by a drink driver,
the medics tried there best but they couldnt revive
her,

The man driving the car was twice over the drink limit,
he has been named Terry gore
and he lives in Greenwich'',

I switched off the telly,
the family must be going through so much pain,
I dont think i will be touching a drink again.
