lost in hell i see no light,
Darkness' abyss is the only thing in sight,
avoiding death is my only goal,
why did god put me here? doesnt he have a soul?!
15 years on this earth i have lived,
15 minutes is all i have left,
my girlfriend crying at my side,
Death is something i do not fear
i just dont understand why my loved one has to suffer!
why me god?! why have you forsaken me?!
why did you leave me here to die?!
why do i have to watch my only love suffer and cry by my side?!
Why god! WHY?!
I'm so lost please show me the way!
I'm growing cold please god let me stay!!
this is my last plee! please god! Please!
My eye lids slowly start to close
As i shout out please god oh please NO!!
well this is it this is gods plan,
as i fall asleep holding my girl hand in hand...
i hear a faint whisper in my ear...
i put my hand to my cheek to whipe away a tear
i slowly start opening my eyes, when i see a smiling face,
i begin to think to myself... was it a dream?
is my life just some sort of sick scheme?
everything comes into focus and i start to see a bright white light,
its the light of an angel, and face as angelic as nature itself,
i look closer and see... my only true love.
Crying tears of joy i smile and hold her hand,
as i look down i see a long scar going down her wrist
i looked her in her beautiful mysterious grey eyes, i asked why?,
she said i did what i had to do, i truly do love you.

i was bored and a friend asked if i could write an intense poem about a guy who is lost in this world and is on the verge of death, sooo i did, at least i think it fits the description

Poetic Demon! Darn you're descriptive! LOL! The intense, the magnitude, the horror, the drama, wow! Very wonderful! The way you put the exclamation point after your words, breathing life into your poem, very well written James! LOL!
