A Letter For Tihi
6 July, 2004
Author: Jennifer Vojinovic
I lived a path of sins and ugliness
You still accepted me for who I was
I lost my contact with God,and held resentments
You prayed for me and helped me get back in touch
I didn't feel like i belonged within the group
You told and showed me different
I had lost faith and no longer wanted to live
You made me laugh and changed my mind
If only I would of came back to church sooner
If only I would of known you earlier
If only I would of realized that I didn't have to
Feel the pain that I put myself through
I would of done it a lot sooner
Thank you for your friendship
Thank you for your advice
Thank you for your friendship
Thank you for your acceptance
Thank you for your friendship
Thank you for your guideance
Thank you for your friendship
For it is the best I have ever had
Now it is time for you to leave me
I wish that you could stay
Although you have dreams
I wish you could fullfill them here
I wish you the best of luck
I wish to see you soon
May God bless and guide you through your journey
May God fullfill your needs
May God protect you through war
May God listen to all your prayers
May God bless you my dear
------- Author's Notes -------
This poem is dedicated to my youth pastor Tihomir Lazic who is done with his studies here in the States and has to go back to Serbia-Montenegro, Yugoslavia. He has been a great inspiration to me these past few months. I am real sad to let him go. |

UsedToKnowYou (76.16.61.77) -- Tuesday, October 25 2011, 11:26 am Oh Jen, how I wish you had made different choices, had more educated parents, and weren't so lost. I am so sad for you. It doesn't mean I don't feel tremendous sadness for the family directly affected, I do. But you... You could have had a different life. |
Ms. M (198.173.31.164) -- Wednesday, November 2 2011, 04:14 pm This is to UseToKnowYou: I now what your talking about, however, I feel no pain in my heart of her. I only hope that she can find forgiveness with God for what she has done. Her upbringing and her childhood have no bearing on her crimes, she was an adult, even worse she is about to be a "mom", she is responsible for taking lives, messed up childhood or not, its inexcusable. May God have mercy on her soul, I know a few people who might not be as forgiving as he. |
UseToKnowHer (76.16.61.77) -- Thursday, March 14 2013, 02:17 am Does anyone know what is happening with her now? |
