Haunting Love Words
10 July, 2004
Author: Del
The sound of this incredible language,
Coming from deep inside your heart.
Keeps haunting me, haunting me,
Since we've been so far apart.
Altho' they were never spoken,
But phrased so cleverly.
I'll remember them forever,
Those love words you sent to me.
In my heart I can hear you whisper,
'My dearest, I love you so.'
You said you'd love me forever,
You'd never let me go.
You said our love was a miracle,
A divine gift from our God above.
And he also sent us an angel,
To keep watch over our precious love.
These loving words are all I have,
But they will have to do.
Until the day you're in my arms
And we can fulfill this love so true.
