His Eyes Are On Us All
10 July, 2004
Author: Ben Laney
He sees you
when you're stumbling up the stairs
He sees you
when you're chillin' in a chair
He sees you
in your designer underwear
He sees you
though you might not think he's there
His eyes...his eyes are on us all
from the great big giant size
down to the eency-weency small
Some think he's far off in the skies
but he sees every tiny sparrow that falls and dies
His eyes...his eyes are on us all
He sees you
when you're driving in your car
He sees you
when you're not getting too far
He sees you
when you're gazing at the stars
He sees you
and knows who you really are
He sees you
when you're crying heart-felt tears
He sees you
when you've had too many beers
He sees you
when you're counting all the years
He sees you
when you're running from your fears
He sees you
when you're trying to do right
He sees you
when you're fighting with your might
He sees you
when you're dealing with your plight
He sees you
in your deepest, darkest night
He sees you
when you're having that wrong thought
He sees you
when you're feeling good and hot
He sees you
when you're giving what you've got
He sees you
when you find that you've been caught
In this world full of deception
we must try hard to see the light
But there's nothing in all of creation
That can be hidden from his sight
His eyes...his eyes are on us all
from the great big giant size
down to the eency-weency small
Some think he's far off in the skies
but he sees every tiny sparrow that falls and dies
His eyes...his eyes are on us all
His eyes...his eyes are on us all
------- Author's Notes -------
This is another one that could go on and on with new verses, but I am doing my best to be restrained at the moment. Also I'd like to mention: There is a verse in the scriptures, in the book of James, that says; "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you." Why not try it sometime and see if it's true? Martin Vann (63.185.64.203) -- Thursday, July 15 2004, 07:15 pm Ben, Many lonely nights, I have looked up at God, then, I feel him smile back at me, I'm so embarrased, that he even saw my face then, I hear the roar of thunder, and I see a lightning bolt, just before it stikes. No, I am not burned, beyond recogniton, but to, realization. Ssuddenly I feel his warmth as he touches my heart and I hear God say, I have to power, I am God, to save you from yourself, next time when you look up at me. do not fear my love, as you fear your sin, for I am God, I can lite the darkest life, you belong to me, if..., you want to be. OUTSTANDING Ben, Martin |
