Summer Dances
13 July, 2004
Author: Pondering Red
Meditative music-
Nervous energy at the
sheer beauty
of it...
A paradox-
Quiet excitement.
Resonating flutes...
Close my eyes.
Open my eyes.
Pastel clarity-
Beauty in the wind...
Hair flutters soft.
The air is dancing.
You look over.
Eyes lock
and glances slide
with the notes-
clear my mind
of all of that
bad stuff,
the awful tastes
in the mouth.
It all melts into
enchantment-
turns into
an almost
pure joy...
for this moment...
Softness of the air-
Stillness of the air-
Stillness of the mind-
Life so kind.
You're so kind.
I'm so kind
and we unwind
into our day.
summer dances...

Meridian (64.12.116.200) -- Tuesday, July 13 2004, 03:54 am You must be real thrilled about Summer! So am I! Because there's no more high school for me! Great poem, on expressing happiness from the heart onto a piece of paper, and submitting your beauty to this site! I commend you for a job well done! Smiles, Meridian |
