Cleaning Up
13 July, 2004
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

I open up the door
to clean out what's inside
There's really nasty stuff in there
Stuff that shouldn't hide

Things that should have long ago
been cast out to waste
Instead of pushed aside
while caught up in busy haste

I'm not even sure
why I let this dwell
Deep inside the darkness
I must try now to expel

To get past the stench
of what was left to rot
I have to face the truth
of what was long forgot

Taking a deep breath
I will try to cross this bridge
Now opening up the door
To clean out the darn fridge

Hahha....I know what you mean... Soon as I go out to dump the garbage, flies can't wait to get some 'old grub'....lol! That mess have your whole house, reeking.... My sinuses can't handle such funk...

Great post!
Take care!

Meridian
