No Matter

Life
Pain
Usually this is what we write about
And from this, what do we gain?
More depression
More despair
Right now it looks like the world's happiness is no longer there.
From all the hurt
And holes we put ourselves in
What can we learn from all this self pittied sin?
That life is never the we we want it to be
No matter how many times they tell her shes pretty
That beauty she'll never see
No matter how much he wants to be happy
He wont find it in himself to be free
No matter how hurt that father is
Hell continue to hide his feelings in the dark
This, is quite simpy reality......
So please dear friend...let it be...

------- Author's Notes -------

This poem is just about how we can focus so much on our problems and all the hurt and lonliness we feel, and never realize that its getting us no where...it the reality we live in..

true words

You've touched on a good subject! I tend to focus on my short comings, sadness, and what have you, instead of sucking it up, and realizing that, only a little faith, will pull me out of my hole... Great poem Blue Angel, intitled, "No Matter"!

Smiles,
Meridian

ahhh bull

i think that writing about how we feel is a great way of expressing yourself. why else would umpteen million people publish books on their lives or whatever? to help themselves and others.
