That Girl's Gone Online
14 July, 2004
Author: Ben Laney
We used to spend time talkin'
face to face
Back before she discovered
cyberspa..a..ace
Then all of a sudden
life just changed
Now I have to be contented
with second pla..a..ace
'Cause that girl's.. gone online
She's on her computer now
all the time
Got a busy signal buzin' in my ears
It's really blowin' my mind
'Cause that girl's...gone online
What ever happened to
old school romance,
Getting out in the moonlight
walkin' and holding hands?
We've got e-mail now
and text messaging
But I miss her warm arms
wrapped all around me
'Cause that girl's.. gone online
She's on her computer now
all the time
Got a busy signal buzin' in my ears
It's really blowin' my mind
'Cause that girl's...gone online
Now ain't that a cryin' shame?
Oh, that girl's...gone online

CYBERSPACE, CYBERSPACE. Yes, it is an amazing place, but not as amazing as a human face! |
