Spending A Dream With You
17 July, 2004
Author: Del
Last night I dreamed an angel,
Walked up to my bed.
She tapped me on the shoulder,
And this is what she said.
I know you are so very lonely,
You miss him oh, so much.
I know you'd give just anything,
If you could feel his touch.
You'll see him in your dreams tonight,
In all his manly splendor.
Your love will be fulfilled tonight,
As you eagerly surrender.
I could never describe the ecstasy,
As euphoria inflamed my heart.
Oh why can't we be together again,
Instead of so far apart?
Dreams are all we have right now,
What else can we do?
Just keep on praying, have faith in God,
And try to see this thru.
