Through the years we have come out of things only friends would survive.
There were many days spent that were filled with love and some spent filled with hate.
But, when I look back all I can see is a friendship that was kept alive.
There are so many memories of the two of us;
it seems like every minute there is a new one to create.

The friendship we share is sort of like an eternal bond,
It pulls us close but allows for movement when things get rough.
There have been things that both of us need to look beyond.
No matter what the situation is we can pull through, no matter how tough.

There is nothing that can replace the memories we have made.
The times we have together will be remembered forever.
Your friendship is a thing I will never trade,
The bond we share is a thing that will not sever.

You have been my friend for as long as I can recall,
There for me when I had not but one person to care for,
There for me when I need something, no matter how big or small,
No matter what, the times we shared are not a thing to ignore.

Laura, you have been there for me when I needed someone to trust.
You are truly a special person; I will not forget what you have done for me.
Keeping in touch is a thing that we must.
Things have gotten a lot better, I know you will agree.

You are the one person I can call my life long friend.
You have been there for me no matter how stupid my tears.
I will have a spot for you in my heart until the bitter end.
I will be there for you no matter what;
there is so much that we have been through,
All I can say is thanks for sticking around all these years.
