Starry Eyed Little Girl
19 July, 2004
Author: Ben Laney
Baby blues
with a silver shine
Swinging golden pony-tail
Sweet lovely daughter of mine
You make diamonds seem pale
My Starry eyed little girl
Go ahead, dance and twirl
Jump the clouds
in your rainbow boots
Spin your skirt
like a parachute
Whoah, oh, oh
You're gliding above the world
My Starry eyed little girl
Look at you
so light on your feet
You're full of grace and style
You bring such
happiness to me
You make your Daddy smile!
My Starry eyed little girl
Go ahead, dance and twirl
Jump the clouds
in your rainbow boots
Spin your skirt
like a parachute
Whoah, oh, oh
You're gliding above the world
My Starry eyed little girl
------- Author's Notes -------
This was inspired by my dancing daughter, Dylan. She really was gliding above the world somehow. It was very special to me to watch her spin and turn! I hope you like it!***Ben |

Martin Vann (63.185.64.157) -- Tuesday, July 20 2004, 06:02 pm Ben, I see, your baby girl, kicking up, star dust all over the world, good thing, her heart is big enough, to cover all that real estate. I see her move, like, summer clouds, yet, I know, there is living..., thunder in her heart and when we hear that roar, we all know, it just applause, coming from her daddy's heart, as he watches her, sprinkle, star dust all over the world. Still, we all know, in her heart, she dances..., for her dad. Your a lucky man, my brother Ben. Your other brother, who understands, MartinV |

I am a fortunate man to have her as a daughter, yes indeed. Thank you soooo much, my T-Town Amigo for your poetic and encouraging words...they are greatly appreciated! Love & Whirled Peas, Ben |
