Tattered Dreams
12 December, 2002
Author: Booze
Silent nights spent all alone in this empty space
Times of quiet and unsure feelings are what i go through
looking back and missing that gentle embrace
Trying to find a way just to say thank you...but that just doesn't do
Having yet a thought that no matter what happened we'd be there
Well i guess that dream has been ripped to shreds
Looking for just a smile just a hint that you care
All I can look back on are the memories that fill our heads
I sit here and expect things to get better
Knowing there is no way they can, without help from you
Going to bed at night with my dreams stuck in fetters
Like the times of torture to human but only now to the thoughts I construe
This was just a tattered dream I had at a time
No matter how much I try things will not change
Things are still bitterly sour, just like biting into a lime
So now I sit here with all my thoughts and not soul to help me exchange
