Affect
18 July, 2002
Author: Booze
Have you ever realized the affect someone has on you?
Can you ever tell what they mean in your life?
Do you really who the person is that will affect you the most?
What does it take to understand who they are?
If they leave for a week and speak not a word to you
And once they are gone you feel like a lowlife
Yet you still feel that no matter how far apart you are that they will remain close
Nothing will keep you apart no matter how big or how far
The person has affected in you in a way like no other
There is nothing you can do except wait for their return
They might leave for a week or even a day
But to you no matter what the length it feels everlasting
You miss them when they leave just like your father and mother
When they come home you feel relief from all your concern
The day they get home you rush to see them, and want to stay
But no matter when you see them you make the best of the time passing
