Tonight Slows Down
10 February, 2002
Author: Booze
As tonight's memories fill my head
Laying here in my bed
I Think of the laughs and the fun we had
Not think of the bad; but the good instead
You come into thought
And the times we fought
There has been so much change
So many new things taught
There is so much you need to know
>From times so long ago
I wish I had a week just to talk
Who knows how much I can tell though
You are a very close friend
We will be together until the end
Who knew so much could change in two months
Who knew our friendship would ever mend
Tonight was good
Nothing was misunderstood
Things got said that needed to be
More will be done later; talk more? we should
We are very open with each other
Not yet close enough to be brother and brother
Maybe in time we will be
Things will be said one after another
Tonight was great
The memories will never dissipate
