Against The World
24 July, 2004
Author: LinzAy
The world's against this
Doubtful eyes await my pain
Dramatic conversations
What do they have to gain
But I stand my ground
My back straight, my feet firmly set
I grab hold of what I know
Everyone's an obstacle, a threat
So far, though, so good
Another ounce of pain has yet been born
Not by that which I care so much about anyway
Not by that which I adore
We're up against the world
Stand tall and strong with me
Everything will be perfect
Trust me and you'll see
