Next Stop

Two bus rides to work
They say it's gonna be hot-
Real hot
Well,got a seat
Next to an open window.
Thoughts go back to you
At home...
Still feeling miserable ?
Happy to be alone ?
Still in your world of awe,
As you call it,
Where melancholy seizes you.
Second bus-
A bit of a wait in the shade,
Can feel the sly approach of this red-heat.
Can feel a sense of relief
To leave you..
In your cocooned shell
Of pessimism and analizing.
Feel not sure what to feel...
Kinda blue because it's contagious.
Kinda happy because I'm wrapping myself
In my endeavor..
Kinda angry because I let myself feel this way.
Kinda confused because I'm not sure how I feel.
Almost oblivious of the street scenes..
It was going well...
My good humour and yours abounded.
Our world of ambition and support,
Fun and walks and bikes
Was going really well...
Was where it was supossed to go...
Until you started to resist the flow.
Now the next stop I get off the bus.
Where will my next stop with you be ?
