Opposites Attract
28 July, 2004
Author: Ben Laney
You were reared in the city
I was raised up Crawdad Creek
your taste leans toward classics
I'm a Rock and Roll freak
Your things are organized
I don't know what I own
You always plan ahead
while my head's always gone
I guess it's true
that opposites attract
Look at me and you
side by side like front and back
I don't have a clue
you've got all the facts
I guess it's true
that opposites attract
You like fruit and veggies
give me a side of beef
You're into silk and lace
I'm happy in my scruffy jeans
You drink cappucino
I guzzle down the beer
You love art museums
Oh, get me out of here!
I guess it's true
that opposites attract
Look at me and you
side by side like front and back
I don't have a clue
you've got all the facts
I guess it's true
that opposites attract

I for one am an appreciater of the differences which were given us by our creator... if no two snowflakes are exactly the same, why should we be? I am glad you loved it and let me know! Meridian (152.163.253.8) -- Wednesday, July 28 2004, 07:51 am Opposites do attract! There's someone out here for everyone... This reminds me of Science class.... Like an electron and a proton, opposites attract... That's real lovin'... Good work Ben! Strike that. Reverse it. Outstanding work Ben! Take care! Smiles, Meri |
Ben Laney (65.148.214.148) -- Wednesday, July 28 2004, 10:22 am Meridian, scientifically speaking, I'd have to say, without any reservations which could be measured mathematically, I unequivocally deem your comment to be most welcome, And I do mean that emphatically!! Haa! Haa! I find your equating the attraction of an electron's attraction to a proton as analogous to "the male-female" quite fun, too. Most of all, however, I like how you were thinking out loud in the way you finished your comment with a creative twist. Thank you soooo much, I really do appreciate your taking time to let me know you like this one! Best Regards & Smiles to you, too! Ben |
