I Think, I Saw You
27 July, 2004
Author: ShyHeart
I think, I saw you, in my neighbor’s, garden
A little flower, greeting, the morning sun
Trying, to open up, just, not quite, awake
I felt my heart, flying, so high, above you
Felt, my love, warm you, as you, tried to speak
Felt, your beauty, trying, to share, something with me
Then, the sunshine, came over, both of us
You looked at me, and we both, begin to smile
I saw a Robin, in a nest, built for two
Heard a Blue-Jay, protecting her babies
I felt my heart, flying, so high over you
Felt the sunshine, and I think, you felt it to
Enough of this, I have to get to work
So, I must leave you, and your memory
Still, I hear the Blue-Jay, and the Robin
In its nest for two, then, again, I think, of you
I think, I saw you, in my neighbor’s garden
