Cry Me A River
30 July, 2004
Author: Moonstarshine
Its one of those nights...
nothing looks and feels right.
There's smell of rain in the air
but my heart is in despair.
He's far away..
but seems oh so near to me
in my thoughts so close forever he will be.
I reach out my arms
and touch his shadow
that lays warm still against my skin
his whispers of sweet nothings
slowly breathing life
into my aching soul
memories unfold..
like timeless treasures
preserved with love
these everlasting dreams
will see me through.
It rains now soft
in my heart..
I turn over to hide my face
in my arms I self embrace
holding the pillow tight
I think I am going to cry me
a river tonight....
