Guiding Light

Through the sorrow and the pain,
see the sunshine through the rain.
If there's one thing that I've learned,
it's to laugh away your hurt.
Life is hard, sometimes a fight,
but trust that God's your guiding light.
When the darkness closes in,
you just turn your heart to Him.
Always smile, always dance,
don't be afraid to take that chance.
You may fall before you fly,
but always trust your guiding light.
When life gets hard, when life gets tough,
never say you've had enough.
Remember it's ok to cry,
but don't give up before you try.
Your guiding light is always there,
to lead you through when you are scared.
Look up, be proud, it's gonna be alright,
if you trust God as your Guiding Light.
When your happy memories fade away,
look forward to a brighter day.
When it feels like nothing could ever be right,
with all the hatred, war, and fight.
Remeber one thing that will always be near,
will alway be there to catch all your tears.
The one thing that can make it all right,
God, the only Guiding Light.
