Hidden by Brandi

I had no clue, of what you were going through,
why didn't you tell someone
that you were suffering
while we were out having fun
you always seemed so happy
so seeing the mark was a shock
i couldnt think straight, couldnt talk
my heart beat fast,
there had to be a good explanation
so i had to ask
after a minute you told me the truth
but no such luck, it was what i had thought
but hearing the actual words felt like someone had ripped out my tooth
you told me not to tell, but what could i do?
the last thing i wanted to d owas hurt you
but if i didnt tell, what would be the result?
If it got bad and you ended up killing yourself,
i would feel like i was responsible, like it was my fault
ive always been told i talk too much,
but where is my voice now when it is most needed
so i told u, ashley, and you were the strength that i needed so much
it was decided that we could bear not having your friendship or trust
but we couldnt handle you killing yourself with that razor and its rust
I cant believe i couldnt see it, couldnt tell, you hid it so well
I never told you that i cared
but now that i have uncovered this im scared
im scared for you,you have so much to offer
you are my friend, and you i dont want to lose,
but its you that gets to chose
just to know that ill be there for you
through all of this i will help you through

hey brandi, looks like u got the hang of this! this poem really opens u up and lets readers into your feelings. this is a really powerful and deep poem i love it! at first i had no clue what u were talking about but then ash told me and now it all makes sense nice job! love ya
