Dreaming
3 August, 2004
Author: Andrew James Ball
Life whispers to us in our sleep,
For in a dream we can understand what it means.
In a dream we can see ourselves as we wish,
And see strange and wonderful things happen,
Even horrible things that haunt our thoughts,
But it is only a dream and can’t be real,
Or so we think every time we fall asleep.
When we’re little we see things all around,
That most people can’t,
And we’re told that what we see is our imaginations,
And there’s nothing in the night,
That’s not there in the day,
But what if that is a lie,
And there are things that go bump in the night.
Just remember that when you fall asleep,
And you dream,
Its only life telling you that we are not alone,
And that there is a lot of things here,
That we still don’t understand.

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Wednesday, August 4 2004, 03:57 am When I was a kid, I used to think all sorts of supernatural, imaginate things... Like the dryer disconnecting itself from the wall and coming to my room... Man, I was one paranoid child... Thank God I sort of grew out of that stage......ahahahaha.... I like your dream-like poem! Great one Andrew James Ball! Smiles, Meri |
