Dying
3 August, 2004
Author: Andrew James Ball
The deep,
Dark,
Tunnel coming before you,
Looking back,
You see your crippled body,
Lying behind in a crumpled mess.
Praying that you’re dreaming,
And that you’ll wake up soon,
You’re curiosity grabbing you,
Pulling you towards the light,
Until the tunnel is gone,
And you know that your home at last.

Meridian (205.188.116.200) -- Wednesday, August 4 2004, 03:54 am .....I'm the character looking for that bright light at the end of the tunnel.... Speaking of tunnels, they make me feel a little trapped, as if I'm closed in or something.... Real superb with captivating the reader's attention! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! Smiles, -Meri |
