Reborn
3 August, 2004
Author: Andrew James Ball
I feel myself slipping away into darkness.
A feeling of loneliness grows steadily in my heart,
As the one you use to know departs.
A year has past,
And at last a little speck of light appears,
It isn’t much,
But it’s a start.
Eventually it will grow into a door,
Until it has swallowed up the darkness.
Once through this door,
I find that the world I had left behind has changed,
I feel as if every thing that I knew,
Is nothing more then a dream,
Lost in time,
Only to be reborn into a world,
That is completely alien.
