Oh! I Wish, I wish, I wish,
I could forget about you.
I think about you every day.
My nights are sad and blue.

The sunshine has just disappeared.
I only see clouds of gray.
All I have are memories,
Since you went away.

I'm living in a dream world.
When will it ever end?
I know you think a lot of me,
But, only as a friend.

I'll never forget the love we shared,
That one memorable night.
It was just a brief encounter,
But enought to whet my appetite.

My heart must have felt the glow,
It hadn't felt for oh, so long.
It just won't seem to let you go.
It's keeping my love so strong.

Oh, I wish, I wish, I wish,
This glow in my heart would depart.
Maybe then my sun will shine again.
And another love could start.
