sometimes I wonder
as I often do...
I speak of him
as I loved only him

I go visit him
cause my heart aches
and misses him so

now I love you
and only you
I want you so badly at my side
to hold me
like you've never had

i spend a great deal
by his side
as I think about
the things that we once shared

but it is you
whom I will spend my life with
it is you
I think about every day
and every night

I cry for him every fathers day
our annivesary
or any holiday

I'm new in loving you
more and more each day
can you still feel my love for you
from many miles away?

I appreciate you
for letting me find myself and where I must go
you are so understanding
you mean the whole world to me

you have given me space
you have given me love
you have inspired me
in knowing what love really means

you have showered me
with so much love and concern
I know you'll be waiting for me
when I return
thank you for loving me...
