My Four Legged Companions And I...
9 August, 2004
Author: Terrie*
I think the phrase
taking the dog for a walk
was a joke of the day
I have two at home
that really amaze me when they want to play
my sons pup always takes me for a walk
he attracts the many folks that I meet
just this morning as I was jogging in the park
I was stopped by a friend
I hadn't seen him for several years
I wanted to stop
but Goob wanted to keep on running..
so here my friend and I
continued to talk on the run
so glad peanut stayed home today
Goob is so lovable and very playful
but... do not get close to me
cause he might bite a piece of your hieny
Peanut will take as much
of the limelight that she can possibly claim
she would make you laugh
she meows like a kitten
and can make monkey sounds
a strange little pooch she is
she seems to want to talk
by snapping her teeth
I think perhaps my husbands spirit
is locked somewhere inside of goob
what else could explain his over protective ways
my husband was sweet
but boy he had a very jealous streak
within his eyes of green
if he didn't know you
Goob is still very sweet
Tame as a kitten if you asked me
just as long as he keeps that tail
away from my thighs
Peanut is not so sweet
when she runs and hides my bras
a beautiful dog goob is
except when he chases me
peanut get so jealous
she thinks there isn't enough of me
when I come in in the morning from work to take a nap
Goob jumps on my bed and onto my lap
I think i should get a companion of my own
because when my son or daughter
decides its time for them to move out
they'll take their buddies and I'll be left w/a pout
anybody whom knows Goob , peanut and I
will tell you one of us will surely cry
