Pen To Paper

Sitting for so long I lost my muse
Saying what the hell, saying what's the use.
No one cares what you have to say
Todays gone forever, tomorrows a new day.
People say my words are sappy and sad
Releasing my inner emotions makes me happy and glad.
Pen to paper takes away the sorrow and pain
It keeps me loving and wholesome but, most of all sane.
So many people share my sorrow and pain
By reading my words you have this much to gain.
So you think in this world you are all alone
That your heart somehow has turned to stone.
Don't give up on your hopes, aspirations, or dreams
Look to the sky for all your moonbeams.
So for all those people who don't care for what I write
Tomorrow for you is a new day and I hope that it's bright.
Now that my words are back so it seems
My paper in front of me once again gleams.
