Outside the rain is falling
And darkness takes the light
I lie awake and listen
To the sounds that make the night
With every drop of rain I feel
The tears slip down my face
How is it love can feel so good
Yet bring me to this place?
Inside my heart is aching
I am longing for your kiss
I close my eyes and feel your touch
There's so much that I miss
I wish that I could hold you
Through night into the day
We never seem to have a chance
But love will find a way
I want to share each moment
When my love is bubbling through
And though my heart feels heavy
It is only missing you!
