They've Gone Away....

you know what bites?
when a friend dies
and so many words were left unsaid
that hurts you soooo bad
yet they do not know
how bad they've hurt you
because they've gone away
it only hurts when
your heart grasps the effect
you try to breathe
you try to speak
you try so hard to move
but the only signal your heart releases
is a tear
a tear of blood that slowly runs down your heart
in slow motion..
because even the tear got a major shock
you place your hands over your heart
even the heartbeat
has changed it's tune
from a cheerful beat
to a beat that’s fading away
and even up close
your heartbeat can not be heard
because your friend has passed away
your friend doesn't know
the effect the words that weren't said
had on your heart
and on you...
