My Spirit Roams Free..
25 August, 2004
Author: Terrie*
my spirit soars
in a world of it's own
where God shines it's light of grace upon
it takes flight up so high
and far away
and flies right back
when it's given space
many choices
to explore
it has fallen in love
with Gods heavenly touch
the star dust of heavens cloud
the fragrance of fallen rain
the taste of a rose petal
the innocence of a dreams request
the blue skies
full of love up so high
the brightness
of the stars and the moon
the warmth
of the sun
the beauty of the
mountains and the meadows
the touch of the sand
spread beyond the land
the waves of the oceans
so deep
my spirit feels so special
to have all of life' s beauty
to touch, to taste
to breathe and see
his love encourages me
my spirit that roams free
doesn't belong to me
yet i am so blessed
to have the grace of
God's love in me

Martin Vann (63.185.65.36) -- Thursday, August 26 2004, 06:23 pm Terrie, Your words, seem to be, from a night alone, and all you have, is the touch of him, in your heart, which, you have shared, with all, of us. Yes, I have been there to, silence, was all I knew. Then upon, an angel's wings, He spoke to me. My son, you have been through a war, seen men cry out, tell her I love her,as they died, in your arms, then, they came home to me. My, son, you kept, your word, and now, that girl, who would have been his wife, married, someone else. Yet, still, in his grave, he smiles upon her love and feels no pain, for God gave him her love. Yes, I may, have gone to far, but the love you speak of, I believe, is more, than yourself, your love reaches, so far beyond, a mortal man's heart, you, Terrie, show love, that reaches through the ages and touches, every man's heart. Yes, I may have gone to far. Your words, are the shadow, of many a man's, lonely heart. MV |
