Washed Away
27 August, 2004
Author: LinzAy
This faded picture I hold in my hands
I remember not it's memory
It's been captured by too many fears
Been washed away by too many tears
I've searched and searched for the meaning of washed away pictures deep inside my soul
And I've tried and I've tried to find every lost part of me that was what once made me whole
This broken frame that no longer stands
I remember not it's history
It's been ruined by too much pain, too much pain
Been washed away by too much rain
I've searched and searched for the reason of a washed away frame that's broken inside my heart
And I've tried and I've tried to find every lost peice of me that kept me once from falling apart
This faded picture I hold in my hands
I remember not it's memory
And this broken frame that no longer stands
I remember not it's history
I've searched and searched for the meaning of a washed away soul that's no longer there
And I've tried and I've tried to find every lost part of my heart but it just isn't there
