Only Time Will Tell
28 August, 2004
Author: Seizure
Only time will tell if our lives will improve
After a life of pain and hate and constant move
What the hell can we grasp when there's nothing more?
What the hell can we do when it's all been done before?
What is left when we all turn to dust?
What is left when all the factories rust?
What is left when there's no one left to care?
What is left when we all go and poison our air?
I always try to think outloud and no one ever hears
About wasted years, about wasted tears
I just want to live like a normal man
I only want to live as best as I can
But the life that I chose makes it all too hard
I look at my body, it'll always be scarred
It reminds me of the life that I'll never live
Of the life that wants far more than I can give
