My Hero Is You

I don't know where I'm going
I don't know what to do
I don't know how to be my best
But all I have is you
I don't know if I'm changing
I know that I'm not strong
I may not be the best of them all
But at least I go on
Because inside me
There's a little bit of you
Because inside me
You always see me through
There's nothing I can't alter
Oh, my hero is you
------- Author's Notes -------
This is a portion of a song I wrote, I figured this was pretty much the most poetic part and was hoping to share it with others. I will admit, this is not my style, I do not follow paths of heroes and seeking help- I'm quite confident to take care of myself. But in certain times, even the most prideful of the crowd will even stand down and seek help. So, this is my tribute to others whom have helped me in my most dire periods of time. |

Scorpio (67.162.95.179) -- Saturday, August 28 2004, 08:44 pm Yeah, I have many heroes! It's so awesome to have people there to help and lift you up when you need it most. Heehee, hopefully, if I ever get enough money, I'll end up getting my own domain so that I can post up any more songs I write or any actual songs by me, if I can. It'll take a lot of work, but hopefully, if I can get the right equipment, I'll make my dream a reality. :D And I'm hoping to get a CD written soon, we just need to finish all our songs and end up getting the right music for it! Thanks for your comments, Meri, you always make me smile. :) |
