Looking Back
31 August, 2004
Author: Ben Franklin
80 Years old,
no friends or family
I should of listend to the words of wisdom my mother
told,
But I listend to the words the devil
sold,
Drink and drugs were my gold,
Im suprised Im still alive,
80 years old and Ive only just introduced
God into my life,
He has saved me from the depths of despair,
I used to rob people to fund my habbit,
I just didnt care,
Cocaine and beer was my thing,
I was so off my face Id stand in the middle of the pub
and sing,
thats how it started off
I didnt know the pain it would bring,
Now Im all alone like a sily sod,
but I do have one friend and his name is
God
