Sweeter Than Roses
4 September, 2004
Author: Sherilyn Goodwin
Sweeter then roses they say,
More precious then diamonds they explain,
More valuable than gold,
Because it is your heart they hold.
More than just a simple game,
More important then the pleasure or the pain,
because love is untouchable,
if it is true....
Sweeter the fragrance of love
Than a dozen of roses
More pure than the snow that falls
More pleasant than the dove's soft call
More blissful than the ocean's cool breeze
The only thing that makes the world stop
The only thing that makes your heart throb
True love is always known
It's all in the kiss
It's all in the way they hold you
It's in the way they look into your eyes
and simply take your breath away
