There Is Nothing At All
7 September, 2004
Author: Eryemil
Go; but if you go now I will forget you,
And I’ll tell the world you meant nothing,
You are nothing to me, you mean nothing to me.
Who you are is only a shadow of what you were,
What you want is only the remnants of your dreams,
And soon you’ll find out, you are worth nothing,
You don’t matter, you don’t matter at all.
And where love once used to blossom,
Between us there’s only hatred,
You love nothing at all,
And you never loved me.
I offered you my heart, you looked the other way,
I held it in my hands and waited for you,
Waited until my hands held nothing;
Grasping at the air where it should have been,
I look for my heart yet there is nothing at all.
