Darkness Crying
8 September, 2004
Author: RubyDragon
When alone I cry
unbeknown to everyone around me,
the things I think, the anguish I feel
deep in this heart of ice, I cannot break free,
I am so sick and tired of no-one hearing
all the tears falling and screaming,
You cannot protect me
from the horrors of life and Death,
eternity is front of me and I lose it
wishing to draw another breath,
as the lost clouds ponder my thoughts so real
not even your soul can save me or make me feel,
I'm destined to live and love someone true
this life is beating out so old yet so new,
Die as the flower wilts
life is gone, stood in the desert of fear,
bleeding, as I fall to my knees so cold
the wind whispering as it blows near,
how many times this feeling will consume
and leave me torn in side as darkness looms,
my friend, my companion, forever!!

These are the type of mind runner poems! After reading this piece of geniune work, I am still caught up in the photography, and the scenes that your poem holds! Really, really great! Pure genius! Take care! Smiles, Meri |
