If I Were You , I'd Hate Me Too
12 September, 2004
Author: Megan
if I were you, I'd hate me too
I'd hate me for the times when I couldn't save face
and all those times i wouldn't follow you on the chase
and those times, when i tried to abandon myself too
all those times, when i wished i could have been more like you
for all those times, when i just couldn't cut it
and for all of the advice, that i just didn't get
and for the times, you had to hold my hair back when i drank too much
and for all the times, i got bitter and such
for all the times, i woke you up balling
i'm so sorry, for ever calling
for all the things, i will never be
for the fact that i will never set myself free
for all those times when i couldn't let go
for all those times i had nothing to show
for the times when i was dead and dragging you down
for the times when you needed a smile, and i provided a frown
for the times when i couldn't be more stable
and the many times i just wasn't capable
for all the things, i thought i knew
i know if i were you
i'd hate me too

barb (209.112.24.18) -- Sunday, September 12 2004, 08:52 pm We all have those things happen and if you truly are loved or liked those aren't things to get hateful for, those are things we have to be more understanding and loving you want to help and be there for our friends. If I were you I would love you too. |

Meridian (172.142.69.179) -- Monday, September 13 2004, 08:44 pm How's life M&M! Of course you're special Megan! Everyone is special in their own way. Even those who have terrible attitudes, and unruly ways, I believe there is some good deep down just inside the core of their heart.... I try to find it in my heart not to hate no one....it can be hard sometimes, when I'm mad at a particular person for doing something, but I get over it, a lot quickly than I used to.... Keep on writing your heart's desire Lady M! Smiles, Meridian |
