Stay Close
16 September, 2004
Author: Shorty
Not yet,
don't leave!
I hold you so close,
afraid that if I let go I'll never see you again.
You wrap your arms around me,
and it's as if all my problems and pressures and problems
just melted with the heat of your body.
I have nothing to be afraid of,
because in your arms nothing can hurt me.
No body elses opinion matters.
We are just there,
and I dread the momentmy alarm clock will go off
and I'll wake up to be alone again.
Later you hold me,
In real life this time,
and it is even better than in my dreams.
My heart jumps at the very sight of you,
the feel of your touch makes me wish that you would never move,
or at least just stay close.
