Lost Kitten
22 September, 2004
Author: Terrie*
i'm lost wet and alone
no where to run
no where to hide
the rain keeps following me
the sun won't shine upon me
the moon seems to hide his face
i feel so alone
in this strange far off place
i'm but a kitten lost and strayed
i know somewhere beyond
lies a dog in the dark
i can hear him bar
perhaps a child may hear my meow
and come to my rescue now..
