Passion
26 September, 2004
Author: Barbara Goodhew
You can have passion overan item or items.
We don't have to have passion just over humans.
A passion for reading, writng or just life in genral
can be a passion.
We can be compassionate to someone, but not have a passion
for that person.
A mind passion to me is stronger than a flesh passion.
My passions are writing, learning and watching how others act in different situations.

Terrie* (65.54.98.106) -- Sunday, September 26 2004, 05:03 pm it doesn't necessarily have to be passion of flesh ,it can be intense feelings for a sunset/sunrise ,ride on a harley, a baby/child giggling,a a puppy at play, many things. i for one am a very passionate person,i couldn't see myself as passionless..(i do not want to become a bitter person)i show strong emotions whether in love/joy, christian music, we all have some sort of passion , anger is also a passion.....i have a great passion for poetry, i write of passion/love/death/birth about whatever inspires/touches me, nothing wrong in passion of flesh.expressing joy feelings of strong intense/desire/excitement,in one's own intellect way.i have compassion not passion for many.i have passion for many things ,i have a strong passion for Jesus and in helping people. plus passion for the man that i love ....passion is like you said life itself..gotta show it before it becomes distinct...thanx for sharing.. |

Martin Vann (67.234.27.23) -- Monday, September 27 2004, 09:25 pm Barb, I read your words today. Seems to me, you have traveled a long road. From passion of the flesh, be honest, you have felt its, heat, I feel it in your words. Yet, as you have, moved down life's road, you share with us the miles, and at every curve, your heart took some notes. Along the way, upon this road, you took a break and wrote this poem of wisdom, that your traveles, shared with you, you write with experience and we all, feel the passion of life itself. Flesh will one day, be a memory, yet, your words of wisdom, and they are, will be read by others, long after you and I are gone. This is how strong, I feel in my heart, your words are, Barb, thank you for sharing wisdom from the miles of life upon the road, you have traveled far, now, as young poets one day, they will read your heart. they will know the difference between passion, and passion, there is a difference when we speak, of the heart. barb (209.112.24.182) -- Tuesday, September 28 2004, 12:02 am Mmy words are things I feel now or felt years ago and yep I have felt the passion of flesh, but it didn't last long. After I didn't like myself. Now I like myself and am happy which probably shows in my writings. |
