Young I'll Be Forever In Mind
30 September, 2004
Author: Clive B Ringshall
At this moment in life,
Everyone seems younger than me,
I sit in class hoping to pass,
Looking around its happens again,
I’d like to know who said I’m old,
Other students are younger than me,
Even the professor is not as old as me,
This morning I woke,
I was young so full of life,
This morning I woke,
None of these pains were present in me,
I’d like to know who said I’m old,
Even though now I feel more mature,
Time passes more quickly than it did before,
I’m sure I must sleep some months away,
My back now aches almost every day,
Funny but I don’t remember it ever this way,
Christmas is almost here I see,
Wasn’t it only just here I say,
I’d like to know who said I’m old,
Time unfolds in a mysterious way,
Seems I forget more than I knew yesterday,
I’ll plod along young or old,
Tomorrow will replace the aches of today
Young I'll be forever in my mind.

Sure the young have healthy bodies but no life experiences the saying youth is wasted on the young is true. How many times have we said Iif I knew then What I know now.Can I scoot along beside you and terrie on the beach, Just make sure you guys are in front of my scooter so I don't get the sand in your faces.Ha |
